It's amazing, you can almost time it to a T, when spring hits the air and those in the Westnet office with sinus issues start sneezing and snuffling. Somehow it's all so much easier to handle than the same symptoms in winter; knowing the sun's outside ready to drench us in goodness.

In our last edition, we did a popular cover of the Beijing Olympic Games. One of our WA members, Pamela Harrison from Donnybrook, pointed out to us the Paralympic Games were kicking off in September and said, '...those athletes are incredible, overcoming their disabilities, no matter how mild to perform at the Games. Pamela told us of a fellow-Donnybrook native, Sharon Jarvis, who was riding as part of the Equestrian team in the upcoming Games.

Sharon has limited strength and movement on her left side from the waist down as a result of having bone cancer when she was a child. Sharon will compete in the individual freestyle test and the individual championship at the Equestrian Centre in Hong Kong (all equestrian events for the 2008 Games have been held in Hong Kong).
